Rockett Vad efternamn betyder
English and Irish: of Norman origin from a diminutive of Old French roche rocque ‘rock’ a topographic name denoting someone who lived by or near a small rock or a habitational name from a place called with this word such as La Roquette in Eure. In Ireland Rockett was apparently substituted for Rockell which carries the same original sense ‘little rock’ (see Rochelle). English: perhaps a nickname from Middle English rocket ‘overgarment coat’ used for someone who made or sold such vestments.
